| Summary |
The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is running a free Energy Efficiency Foundation Course jointly with the Buildings Research Establishment (BRE). This course will give a thorough overview of energy efficiency in housing issues through talks and workshops, and is ideal for all professionals who work with domestic dwellings.
These one-day events will:
increase your knowledge of the range of energy efficiency measures available;
provide an authoritative overview of the latest energy efficiency legislation;
show where energy efficiency fits in the wider context of environmental and legislative issues, including regional variations in standards and regulations;
explain the language and jargon of energy efficiency
provide you with information on how to design for energy efficiency, how to finance it and how to get people involved in promoting energy efficiency;
provide you with practical local case studies delivered by practising housing professionals.
Attendees will have the opportunity to question experts, discuss areas of mutual interest with fellow professionals, hear from local practitioners and receive a complementary information pack containing a range of relevant literature.
