| Summary |
The construction sector and its clients need to face facts: climate change is going to have an impact upon the way we plan, design, construct and maintain our built environment. Extreme and often unpredictable weather patterns, flooding and rising temperatures are going to have significant implications for what and how we build.
This seminar will be of particular interest to developers, contractors, investors and fund managers, planners, architects, buildings services engineers, and facilities managers. Delegates will gain
an appreciation of how global warming is beginning to impact upon our climate
an understanding of how these changes will affect how we evaluate and mitigate financial and technical risks
an insight into how the development sector can plan for, and mitigate against a key impact: higher temperatures.
