Faithful+Gould (part of the Atkins group) have a requirement for a person with a thorough understanding of the theories and practice of sustainability in construction, having a track record of practical implementation of energy conservation and sustainable design. Having the ability to work with people at all levels, with analytical skills and understanding of technical issues of energy and environmental management.
The work will consist of the following.
? Energy consumption modelling
? Environmental assessment (BREEAM (preferred) or similar)
? Management of the London and South East local offices EMS
? Waste minimisation in construction
? Processing of project lifecycle assessment methods and sustainability KPI?s
? Understanding of alternative methods of project procurement and sustainability repercussions
? Awareness of life-cycle costing, risk management, maintenance costs
