apologies- I mentioned on the last Sponge newsletter that the Harlow North Extension that Jonathan Smales will be speaking about at our next event was 'imminent'. I have been corrected- please see email below from "Stop Harlow North"...Please note that Sponge are not 'promoting' anything, just allowing people to find out more..!
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have been alerted to your meeting on April 6th.
Unfortunately your information is incorrect. The urban extension to the
north of Harlow is not imminent. The East of England Plan is out for
public consultation until March 16th and then will be subject to an
examination in public later this year. No decisions have been made.
We have taken legal advice on similar attempts to promote Harlow North.
There may be a case for you, your sponsor and the conference speakers,
jointly and severally, to answer in respect of the general blight to
house prices you may have caused by your publication and distribution
of this negligent misinformation and/or misrepresentation.
